Prayer

I really like this video.  I know that Daniel's experience with prayer can happen for everyone. God is very anxious to communicate with us through our thoughts and feelings if we are willing to listen.  Prayer is a personal two-way communication with our Father in Heaven.  We can be led down the correct paths and learn truth through prayer.  In Preach my Gospel, the missionary handbook, it says that "No one can know spiritual truths without prayer."  We can certainly know about spiritual things without praying.  But to really know spiritual things for ourselves independent of any other person or influence, we must pray.  It takes courage and faith to begin and to take that first step.  But prayer can become a personally rewarding experience if we are willing to just try it, and then work at it.
